Easy Step To Use Khaman Dhokla:
- Method for preparing Nilon’s Khaman Dhokla: Pour two glass of water in pressure cooker and place a steel ring in the bottom of thecooker and keep it on low ﬂame. Slightly grease the inner surface of pot with oil and put in the ring. Take 250-280 ml water with 200g Nilon’s Khaman dhokla and stir gently to make smooth paste. Add 2tbsp (30ml) oil and pour the paste in the cooker pot immediately then close the lid and remove whistle of the cooker. Cook for 20min.on high ﬂame. Before switching off the ﬂame remove the lid of cooker. Now let the Khaman cool for 5 min. Cut the Khaman into pieces and garnish it. Your tasty Nilons Khaman is ready.
- Garnish: Heat Ztbsp (30ml) oil, add 1 tbsp mustard seeds. When cracking starts add small pieces of green chilli. Spread evenly over Khaman pan-cake. You can also add grated fresh coconut and chopped coriander leaves and serve with green chutney. Heat 2 tbsp (30ml) oil in a pan, add 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds & small pieces of green chilli. Add 30 ml water, 1/2 tbsp sugar and a pinch of citric acid in it. Fry it and spread it evenly on Khaman pan – cake sprinkle chopped green coriander, grated coconut and serve with green chutney.
