Weekdays are generally busy, and result in, us missing the most important meal of the day; breakfast. Weekend is the best and the only time we have to make up for this loss. Make the weekend breakfast special, by serving your family, hot pancakes covered in their favourite toppings.

1 cup Maida
1 teaspoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder (optional)
1 cup whole Milk
2 teaspoon Baking Powder
1 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 tablespoon Butter
a pinch of Salt

Step 1:
Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl. Add Vanilla essence, Milk and Oil to the mix and whisk thoroughly. Melt the Butter and add it to the batter, keeping a little aside. Add enough water to make a smooth-thick batter.

Step 2:
Heat a pan and add a little butter to it. Measuring with a cup, pour some batter on to the pan.

Step 3:
Let it cook till bubbles appear on the surface then, cover with a lid for not more than 15 seconds. Remove the lid, flip the pancake and cook till golden brown.

Step 4:
Serve hot with honey, maple syrup, chocolate syrup or any other topping of your choice.
You can also add your desired fruits or nuts to the batter for a healthier meal.
