A quick and easy recipe of Jaggery Pongal. Avoid milk and use coconut milk as a substiute. It tastes lovely and is distinguishably different from the regular sweet pongal!

Ingredients:

  • Rice
  • Coconut Pieces
  • Organic jaggery powder
  • Cardemom powder
  • Cashew nuts
  • Almonds
  • Raisins

Method:

Finely crush coconut pieces in the mixer and then filter the same. Once your coconut milk is ready, boil your rice in it.

Once cooked, add organic jaggery powder and mix well. Add cardemom powder and stir.

Fry the cashews, almonds and raising together. Add these to the rest and mix well, then remove from stove and serve hot!
